Dorothy Hope Silva, 86, of Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by her closest grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Tony Silva. She was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and moved to Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1954. In Massachusetts she worked at Sturdy Memorial Hospital and Texas Instruments. She moved to Melbourne, Florida in 1988.
She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. She was very giving of her time, including volunteering for several different positions.
Dorothy is survived by her children, son Anthony (Tony) and Judy Silva; son Robert (Bobby) and Mary Silva; daughter Nancy Gariepy; daughter Cynthia (Cyndi) Silva; son-in-law Ed Henry. She was a grandmother of 11, especially Angi Hope Carrasquillo her caretaker, Eddie Henry and Marc Nadeau; great grandmother of Chase Carrasquillo, Alexa Henry; 10 nieces and nephews.
