Douglas A. Schlumbohm, age 78, born August 13, 1937 in Indiahoma OK to the late Edward and Elsie Schlumbohm, passed on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne FL.
He retired in 1977 after 22 years serving in the US Army at the rank of 1st Sergeant. He was part of the 4th Missile Battalion 28th Artillery.
A published author, his three book are Indiahoma Son, Indiahoma Son's Favorite Short Stories and Cold War Soldier.
His family includes his children, Denise Schlumbohm Cravy, Douglas Edward Schlumbohm, Mary Anne Wyatt and Ernest Richard Schlumbohm.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sang Schlumbohm in 2005.
