Mrs. Lisa Spence was called to Heaven on July 30, 2017 at Holmes Regional Hospital surrounded by family.
She was born September 17, 1962 in Winchester, VA to Bill and Donna Breeden of Winchester.
Surviving with her parents is her husband Tracy “Stretch” Spence and her children Geoffrey Lowdermilk, wife Kelly and granddaughter Harper of Smyrna, GA. Daughter Jessica Matthews husband Chad and grandsons Maddix and Maverik of Deltona, FL, adopted daughter Melissa Lowdermilk of Orlando, FL. Her stepchildren Heather Rhew husband Mike, grandsons Tyler and Tristen of Smithton, IL, Tiffany Spence of Palm Bay, FL and Joshua Spence wife Wendy, grandsons Greyson and Jonah of Melbourne, FL. Two brothers Dennis Breeden of Winston-Salem, NC and Dean Breeden of Palm Bay, FL.
Lisa was a dedicated and loving wife, friend, mother and grandparent. She treasured family above all else and loved her grandchildren deeper than anything in this world. She deeply believed in Jesus Christ. Her love of life was contagious, she loved the water, Key West and getting into the wind on our motorcycle. She always will be my Island Girl with a Pirate Flag at heart. She always had a smile on her face and a hug for all.
Lisa had a very unique sense of humor and was just a joy to be around, she’d make you laugh. Sometimes when I didn’t laugh like she thought I should she would say, “I’m funny, I know I am you just didn’t get it”, then we’d both laugh. There is so much I could tell you about my wife but I like to hear from her friends and family so please share your memories and photos with us. I am so very humbled by the outpouring of Love and friendship that has come to our family following this tragedy.
Lisa is the Love of my Life, we shared more good times and adventures in 10 years than most get in 30. My wish for all is that they can find the Once in a Lifetime Love that we had during our short time together.
