Anthony Bosco, age 89, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Husband, Father, Grandfather and bus driver,. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
Served time in China during World War II as part of the Marine Corp motor pool, then started a career as a bus driver in 1952, and drove the streets of New York for 25 years.
After moving his family to Florida, he began a new career as a tour bus driver for Kennedy Space Center. Most proud of this job, it gave him the opportunity to see the shuttle launches and meet a lot of people. From astronauts Sally Ride and Story Musgrave, to senators and congressmen that rode on the bus, he had a story for each one. His longtime hobby was cooking and baking. Throwing a dinner party with his wife of 60 years was something he always enjoyed. He lived a long, rich and full life.
His family includes his wife, Antoinette Bosco; children, Peter Bosco, Salvatore Bosco and Michael Bosco and his grandson; Brandon Bosco.
