Lib died Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 2:22 am in Palm Bay Hospital, Palm Bay, Florida from kidney failure. She was surrounded by her daughter, Deborah Robinson Smith, her son, Jay M Robinson, Jr, granddaughter, Mary E Buza and grandson, Christopher D Emmons and spouses. She was the daughter of predeceased Mayo Cannon Holland and Lena Mae Ramsey of Bakersville, NC. Lib attended Bowman Elementary and High School in Bakersville, NC where she met the love of her life, Jay Robinson. She later went to nursing school at York County Hospital School of Nursing in Rock Hill, SC. She worked as a registered nurse and taught classes at Cabarrus County Hospital and Charlotte hospitals. Following the career of Jay, Lib lived in Concord, Norwood, on Lake Norman, in Chapel Hill and finally in Wilmington. She was a member of 4 bridge clubs and the Cape Fear Garden Club in Wilmington.
