Troy L. McDavid - October 26, 1932 - December 19, 2016

Troy L. McDavid, 84, of Palm Bay, passed away at The Fountains on 12/19/2016, while in the care of VITAS Hospice and the loving company of his family and numerous friends in the preceding weeks. Originally from Weber City, Virginia, he is survived by his brother Jack McDavid and his children, Stan (Shauna Grace) McDavid of Palm Bay, Suzanne (Rob) Pendleton of Royal Palm Beach and Kevin (Julie) McDavid of Orlando, grandchildren Kimberly, Stephanie, Brad, Brooke, Sally, Kurt, Kyle, Keith and Megan, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Quillen McDavid, his parents Lubert and Iva McDavid, brother Lynn McDavid, sisters Lois Prater, Peggy Richmond and Frances McClellan.

Troy graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with his Electrical Engineering degree while working on the Apollo program. He then relocated to Fort Lauderdale, where he eventually retired from Bell South after 20 years of service. He enjoyed family life and fishing.
