Florence B. Mullen of Melbourne Florida passed away peacefully at her residence in The Fountains.
Born in Brooklyn NY she moved to Melbourne in 2012. She had previously been a resident of Bradenton Florida and East Northport NY. During her life, she had been a keypunch operator, a bookkeeper, a CNA for Catholic Charities and worked in the retail industry. Among her hobbies were painting, travel, reading, gardening and volunteering. She was a member of Saint Bernard’s Church in Anna Maria, Florida where she volunteered as well. Florence was also a member of the Hibernians, Red Hat Society and volunteered at Blake Hospital in Bradenton.
She was the widow of Richard F. Mullen, Jr. She is survived by daughters Linda MacDonald (George) Marietta, GA, Laura Lindauer (Don) of Melbourne, FL, grandchildren Maureen MacDonald Perkins (Justin), Richard MacDonald (Angie), Mark MacDonald (Christine) and great-grandchildren Dakota, Christopher, Abby, Liam, Hannah, Andrew and Taylor.
