Shawana (Shawn) German died October 30, 2016 in Melbourne Florida.
She was born Angee Loretto in Crownpoint, New Mexico on April 3, 1957. She was adopted by a loving family and eventually relocated to Melbourne Florida, where she went to school and graduated from Eau Gallie High School. She worked at Harris Corporation for 30 years before she retired.
Shawn was known for her competitive spirit, and was a fixture in are slow pitch softball leagues for years. She also loved bowling and line dancing. She was a life long Miami Dolphins fan as well as a fan of Nascars Earnhardt family.
In the early 1990's she was reunited with members of her birth family whom had been looking for her for years. She absorbed the love from everyone she met, and returned it with interest.
She is survived by her father, James Williams, sister Lorri (Dean) Hughes, brother Kevin (Dru) Williams, her niece and nephews, her husband Paul, daughter Heather, son Brett, and three grandchildren that she loved dearly. She is also survived by her Navajo Apache family, sister Bita Begay of New Mexico and brother Bill Loretto of Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
