Muriel D. Rudden, 93, passed away Monday, September 12, 1923.
She was born in Jamaica, NY on January 11, 1923 to the late George and Anna Fosdick.
Muriel was a founding member of St Boniface Church and was well known for her clam chowder and clam fritters. She served as preident of the Great South Bay Girl Scout Council and later served on the Girl Scout district board. She was an extremely active US Coast Guard Auxilarist in Flotilla 14, Lyndenhurst, NY with her great friend and companion Joseph Blanchard.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Hugh P. Rudden, brothers George and Sheldon Fosdick.
She is survived by her children Robert Rudden, Nancy Gately and Ruthann Hansen; son in law Charles Hansen; grandsons Christopher Farrow and John Farrow and two great grandaughters Alyssa Farrow and Amanda Farrow.
