Mr. James F. Harrison, Jr, 82, of Cocoa, FL passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Wuesthoff Medical Center, Rockledge, FL.
He was Born July 5, 1934 in Frederick, Maryland to James F. Harrison, Sr, and Alice E. Bare.
Mr Harrison served 23 years in the United States Air Force as a Aircraft Radio Technician. After retiring from the USAF he was employed by Horton Emergency Vehicles in Columbus, Ohio. He later moved to Colorado Springs, CO and was employed by Digital Equipment Corp. until he retired. After his retirement he and his wife traveled the US in their motor home until settling in Cocoa, FL.
While stationed at Lockbourne AFB in Columbus, Ohio, James met his wife Marlene. They were married 58 years at the time of his passing.
His passions were his family, fishing, reading and bowling.
He is survived by his wife Marlene M. (Martin) Harrison of Cocoa, FL, Daughter April (Larry) Rae, Merritt Island, FL. Sons Michael W. Harrison and James L. Harrison, both of Cocoa, FL. Grandchildren Rayanna Rae and Ryan (Lauren) Rae and 3 great-grand children. Three brothers, Donald Bare of Martinsburg, WV, Robert W. Darby (Dorothy) Middletown, MD, and Roger V. Rothenhoefer of Thurmont, MD and many nieces and nephews.
