Charles O. âChadâ Thayer V, 26, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 in New York City following a brief illness.
Chad was born in Melbourne, FL on December 6, 1989, the oldest of two children to Charles O. âChuckâ and Kathleen Alletto Thayer.
Chad graduated with honors from Emory Universityâs Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, GA in 2012, earning a B.B.A in Finance & Analytic Consulting. During his time at Emory, Chad was named a Goizueta Scholar, an honor given to only 4 out of a class of 1200. A member of the graduating class of 2008 from Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, Chad participated on the football and lacrosse varsity teams. Previously attending West Shore Junior/Senior High School, Chad participated on the middle and JV basketball teams.
During high school, Chad founded the Kuellâs Cure non-profit organization designed to raise funds and awareness for Fanconi Anemia research, an illness a classmate had been stricken with. For his fundraising efforts, Chad received the Florida Governorâs âPoint of Light Awardâ for outstanding community service.
At the time of his death, Chad was employed by Hibernia Networks in Summit, NJ as a Financial Analyst. He held a similar position after his graduation with Houlihan Lokey in NYC. He also previously interned at Kurt Salmon Capital Advisors in Atlanta and Harris Corporation in Melbourne.
Chad was an avid writer and passionate speaker.
He had recently started providing blogs and podcasts, some of which are featured on his website at www.5thgenerationllp.com. This had become his journey in search for truth.
Chad is survived by both parents, his sister Ashley Schmid (Eric), his grandmother Barbara Alletto, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as the love of his life, his longtime girlfriend Chelsea Tate.
