Gary Michael DâAmico, born on December 30, 1949, died on February 23, 2016. He was a loving father, Vietnam veteran, master artisan in concrete masonry, paramedic, photographer, and writer.
The son of Peter and Eleanor DâAmico, Gary leaves behind his fiancé, Linda Bozovich;the mother of his children, Kathleen Colley, and his four adult children: Sara (Mark) Orlando, Amy DâAmico, Karen (Ric) Jones, and David (Julie) DâAmico, as well as his father Peter D'Amico and his two brothers, Gene (Mary Ann) D'Amico and Dennis (Joyce) DâAmico, and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor (née Gould) DâAmico.
He was born and raised in Albion, New York until he retired to Melbourne. He was a volunteer EMT, Paramedic, and instructor.
A hard-fought battle with cancer overcame him. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St Judeâs Childrenâs Hospital, a nonprofit he recently expressed the desire to support. Services will be in NY.
