Margaret Marie Finch, 101, of Livonia, Michigan passed away at home surrounded by her family in Melbourne, FL on February 20, 2016.
Margaret was born in Royal Oak, MI, on September 24, 1914 to the late John and Victoria Miller of Lake Orion, Michigan. She was a 70 year resident of Livonia where she and Don built their home on Brookfield Street, later to become part of the Kimberly Oaks Community where she was happy to celebrate her 100th birthday in September of 2014. Her family gratefully acknowledge her dear neighbors, Jack & Bobbi Narduzzi and Bob & Margaret Davis, for their many years of caring friendship. She was a past member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a founding member of St. Maurice Catholic Church. She was a past and proud Lioness of the Lamplighter Lions Club of Livonia.
Margaret is survived and will be missed by her children, Donald (Joann) Finch of Grayling, MI, Mary Burton Prideaux of Bloomington MN, Christine (James) Chevalier of Detroit, MI, and Susan (David) Pruiett of Asheville, NC; sister-in-law Frances (Mrs. Robert) Miller of Oxford, MI; grandchildren, Donald Finch, Theresa Finch, Shelly Akerly, Patrick Burton, Daniel Riste, Scott Riste, and Michelle Flick; grand dogs Ranger Pruiett and Lacey Chevalier; and ten great grandchildren.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Donald James Finch; daughter Patricia Anne Fusina; and grandson Robert Burton. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Edward, Fredrick, Robert and John Miller, as well as her sister Josephine Haddrill.
