James Blakely Cloud Sr., age 87 of Palm Bay, Florida, whose sense of life was full of hope and bravery,
passed on November 12, 2015 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.
Born in Wildwood, New Jersey on April 17, 1928 to Levi and Minnie Madden Cloud. He had four siblings,
Elmer, Willard, Dorothy, and Elva (all predeceased). He graduated from Haddon Heights High School, Haddon Heights, NJ. James drafted into the Army in 1952 and fought in the Korean War, where he was wounded twice receiving two Purple Hearts. He married his wife Joan Newcomb Cloud of 65 years, in 1950 and they resided in Berlin, NJ. A member of the Berlin Fire Company. Retired from a career in the Operating Engineers Union, Local 825 in 1994. Moved to Palm Bay, FL. in 1994. He was the father of two children, James Blakely Cloud Jr. (predeceased) and Linda Cloud Easmunt.
He is survived and will be missed by his wife Joan; daughter in law, Rebecca Fields Cloud; daughter
Linda; granddaughter, Jenilee Easmunt; grandson, Scott Easmunt and his wife Ashley Graham Easmunt; great grandchildren, Wilhelm Blakely and Tegan Marie Easmunt.
