Reverend Hiram Ellis went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 22nd. He was a great Christian man and an example to all of us. He was always grabbing your hand with that big loving smile only he could give you. He never failed to lift you up with his kind words. His smile and zeal for the Lord was very infectious. His love for his family and his church family shone on his face at each service. One could not just pass him or Sister Georgia by without a handshake, a kind word and a big hug. Brother Hiram brought the joy of the Lord with him to every service. We, the congregation, loved it when he and Sister Georgia would take the microphone and sing their hearts out for the Lord and all of us. He loved to share the Word with everyone and did so every chance he could. We, along with Pastor Ken were very blessed to have his parents in church with us. They both became a true blessing instantly in all our hearts. Brother Hiram will definitely be missed but, we are all thrilled to know he made it HOME!
