John Kelvin Spivey - June 14, 1956 - September 22, 2015

John Kelvin Spivey passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 22, 2015.   Born in Savannah, GA on June 14, 1956 to Ralph and Beaulah Spivey, John was the oldest of two children. After spending his childhood in West Melbourne, John headed west eventually settling in Houston, Texas as an instructor for Universal Technical Institute. With John’s passion for mechanics and knack for storytelling, it was no surprise the he was repeatedly voted by students as the top instructor. Most recently, John spent his time in Longwood, FL working as a subcontractor in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry while spending free time with his family.     He is survived by his mother Beaulah Spivey, his daughter Bonnie, his granddaughter Savanna, his sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Ramon Hernandez, significant other Patricia Slocum and Bonnie’s mother Susan.
