James "Jim" Joseph Keho - December 18, 1932 - August 25, 2017

James "Jim" Keho, 84, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at LaCasa ALF, Merritt Island, FL. Born in Flint, MI to James and Catherine (Pinet) Keho.  He moved to Merritt Island in April 1991.

As a young boy he loved radios and was an errand boy for a local Flint radio repair shop.  He served in the US Army from 1954-1956 and was stationed in Japan as a Fixed Station Receiver Repairman.  Jim frequently said he was lucky to do what he loved. He graduated from the former Flint Junior College, with an associates degree. In 1987, after 33 years of service, he retired from AC Spark Plug, a division of General Motors Corporation. At AC he was a laboratory technician, responsible for the Standards Lab. After retirement Jim pursued his Amateur Radio license, obtaining Amateur Extra status.  His call sign is KT4ZT.

Jim is survived by his wife Mary of 44 years, children James Keho, Susan Keho and Janet Garcia (from a previous marriage) all from Phoenix, AZ area, step-daughter Suzanne of MN, step-son David of SC, seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his two older sisters, Helen on August 22, 1981 and Catherine on August 20, 1997.
