Henry John Jwanowski, age 90, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017. He lived in Melbourne FL, and was formerly of Peabody, MA.
Born September 11, 1926, he was the son of John Jwanowski and Helen Sledzik Jwanowski.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Olga Harrisonchuk Jwanowski, and stepson John Brennan.
Born and raised in Salem, MA, Henry served in the US Navy during WWII as a communications specialist in Saipan. He retired from the commercial banking industry in the Boston area, and lived in Florida with his wife Doris for the past 26 years.
His family includes his wife of 27 years, Doris Jwanowski, and sister Elizabeth “Betty” and Courtland Smith, son John Jwanowski and wife Ann of Peabody, MA, and son Paul and wife Barbara of Burleson, TX. Henry had five grandchildren, Daniel (Whitney) Jwanowski, James (Jen) Jwanowski, David Jwanowski, Kathleen (Devin) Rhodes, and Patrick Jwanowski, and one great-grandchild, Emma Jwanowski. Stepchildren include Patricia Skelley, Kathleen Johnson, Mark Brennan, Kevin Brennan, and their children and grandchildren.
He will be missed but his memory remains in the hearts of those who loved him.
