Sherry Lynn Dewberry Durham – Wife, mother, sister, and friend – died unexpectedly at the family home in Palm Bay, FL on July 16, 2017. She was 57 years old.
Sherry was raised in the small town of Hurt, VA. The third child of Earl Randolph Dewberry and Elizabeth Garrison Dewberry. Surviving siblings include Robert Earl Dewberry (wife Susan) of Roanoke, VA. Marilyn Sue Dewberry Bowling (husband Terry) of Hurt, and Albert Sydney Dewberry (wife Yung Souk) of San Diego, CA. Of all her interests and talents, her family and home were her greatest treasure. Sherry was a loving and selfless wife to Martin (Marty) Durham, her husband of 24 years. She was the strong, silent partner in Marty’s career, caring for the home and family while he traveled for work. Her greatest accomplishment was raising two beautiful children, Katie Elizabeth Durham (19) and Jacob Martin Durham (23). Words cannot express the magnitude of our loss. She will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
