Robert Bailey, 71, formerly of Ashland, Illinois,went to his heavenly home Sunday, June 11, 2017.
Robert passed at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge, Florida after complications from surgery, Robert spent his working career as a truck driver and in the moving and storage field. But what he will be remembered for, Robert was always working and tinkering on something.
Robert, “sweetie,” “dad,” “ pawpaw,” and “grandpa” had the sweetest and gentlest soul we were fortunate to have known. He was a doting husband to Evelyn Bailey for 28 years. To his children, grandchildren and friends, Robert gave what he had to most of - love! We will love and miss you until we see you again.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Lace Robert Bailey Jr and Martha Alice Bailey ( Tucker).
Surviving is wife Evelyn Bailey of Rockledge, Florida; Daughter Robin ( Charles) Polley of Quincy, Illinois; Son Robert F. Bailey Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; Step-Children Ginger ( Trevor) Quade of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Vincent (Leslie) Fann of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Eric (Kim) Fann of Turlock, California; Monique ( Oscar) Mariona of Rockledge, Florida; Roman D. Griego of Warrenton, Missouri; Brother John Bailey of Illinois.
